Five conditions that make a perfect vintage

  1. Early and quick flowering and fruit set
  2. Warm, dry weather during flowering and fruit set
  3. Gradual onset of water stress (warm, dry July)
  4. Warm and dry August and September
  5. Dry and warm-ish weather during the harvest
